Sensible business

Think everyone agrees that unless you are owned by someone who's name begins with 'Sheikh', January is not the best time to try and make a big signing.

I think this is some experienced cover in a position where we are short. I know Cafu can play there, but I'd always prefer an actual centre half.

Patches us up until the end of the season and hopefully we can make an investment in a decent centre half in the summer.

Hopefully a creative midfielder in tomorrow?
