players not being happy with a reduced role as they age and become less effective? Or looking for a last payday.
Maybe the very fact that they are legends is what persuades them to have a public strop on the basis that as legends they reckon will be able to get away with it (particularly in the eyes of the fans).
Wes signed a contract to be employed by Norwich until next summer (I think?). If Norwich believe his role is a squad player then that is their choice - you can't let players pick the team.
