For much of this season I was an 'inner' but I'm afraid

I now believe the Board have no option but to do something albeit replace the manager or at least splash out on a couple of quality players because without it, I just can't see us staying up. I didn't go last night but if it was worse than Fulham on Boxing Day (and I'm led to believe it was) then something does have to change. We can't score goals, can't dominate a team for long spells and unfortunately the manager who prides himself on defence, can't get us to defend too well either (although we've just had two clean sheets before anyone points this out!). Also, in my many many years as a City and footy fan, I can only think of a couple of managers who struggled at a club for a prolonged period and were then able to turn it around (Ferguson the obvious one). In general it just doesn't seem to happen in football. I think CH is a superb bloke and never have I wanted a manager to succeed more but I just can't see it changing. I hope he and the Board prove me wrong and I'd be only too pleased if I was.
