I think it's actually the wide men that are the problem

We could accommodate 2 up top more easily by adjusting the system. With he players we have I think we're crying out to play 3-5-2 (or a slight variation)

Whittaker/Martin and Olson would be much better suited to those roles than in a flat 4. Could play 2 defensive minded midfielders which would give Fer a bit more freedom to get further up the pitch and have more opportunity to slide balls rough to RVW/Hooper ala west brom away
