everyone would have to accept that Hoots's style makes it a bit tougher for our attacking players, surely?

Since he's been in charge, we've scored (just) fewer than a goal a game. Either all our attacking players have been rubbish over that period, or it tells you something about Hoots and the set-up.

And before anyone says "this is just life for a bottom half of the modern premier league club", it isn't. Only two teams scored fewer than a goal a game last season, and only three others have so far this year (2 of whom are in the bottom 3).
