But why the hell do these clubs suddenly think its worth bidding for our players?

The one u can possibly just about understand is Snoddy with the Glasgow link but both Celtic and Swansea won't be paying any more than us. Swansea are a smaller club and won't be in Europe for much longer. What huge hell makes them think they can come along and take our players?

Is it just the signing of Gutierez makes then think we have a surplus of left wingers or are these players agents putting the word about that their clients are not 100% happy and therefore making a bid is worthwhile?

Hoolahan, Snoddy, Pilks and Redmond. The idea that clubs think we might be willing to sell any of these players is a bit depressing.
