The cup teams he's picked have all been good enough to win the matches with the exception of Man Utd away, but haven't performed on the day.

Also, you have to remember that Liverpool's squad is stronger than ours, so they can afford to play a strong team as they've the depth to continue with little adverse effect if anything happens.
