That was what I was getting at.

These links don't materialise (where transfers are to similar stature clubs) unless agents are letting it be known their clients are not adverse to moving. I find it worrying that clubs seem to think they have a chance of buying our players for not enormous fees.

Maybe I am being a grump but the possibility of losing another of our better attacking players is not a cheery thought, especially if Gutierez is the replacement.
