Big clubs copy one another. I've had "Liverpool, Champions in 2015/6" (meaning a 26 year wait for them too) circled for as long as I can remember now - and always thought no top quality manager would want the United job until Ferguson's successor had failed. Because he's as irreplaceable as you'll ever find anywhere.
