also will depend on what both the children are like as well. Some 2 year olds are easy so looking after a younger one as well not so tricky. Some 2 year olds are seriously hard work on their own so adding another on top could tip you over the egde! Also depends if you can afford any/have access to any help with childcare

2 close together can mean 3 or 4 years of real exhaustion but then you come through the other side and have kind of got it over with whereas if you spread them out its perhaps not quite such hard work but you are doing baby/toddler stuff for 7 or 8 years.
