Because the basic point is he's not good enough.

Obviously if he has lost the dressing room then that seals his fate but even if he has not then he should still be sacked.

As someone else has said Hughton is unlikely to ever "lose" the dressing room in the way that Glen Roeder would because Hughton is not a complete a**ehole.
