I'm starting to get a bit suspicious tbh

Of either:

1. A split in the boardroom dating back to Lambert's departure, which led to an apparent rumpus after the Villa home game late last season. Not at all sure the board's all been pulling in the same direction since;

Or:

2. All sorts of suggestions that we're having problems convincing players (and possible managers?) to come here. Why?

If it's 2), enjoy the rest of the season folks: we'll be back pottering around in Championship mid-table nothingness in no time.
