having nominated Phelan as my 1st choice, I've thought of a 2nd reason why I may be wrong

yesterday I said that my only reservation in nominating Micky P as the man to take us to the end of the season is that he may never have had to lift players of our quality from as low as ours currently are.

I've had another thought. recently he said he's been pretty much manager of manyoo for a couple of years now, and unless I missed it, that claim has been enthusiastically backed up by absolutely none of the players formerly under his charge. And, given football's famous grapevine, he hasn't been snapped up by other clubs or linked with any of the larger clubs either.

I may be wrong about Phelan, i think we can agree that if he comes here and is bobbins, it wasn't me, it was Colincanaru wot dun it.
