So we win 1-0 on Saturday? Then what, he stays for another 3 games? We've had 18 months to decide if he's good enough, 1 more game will make sod all difference.

If we sacked him today, Adams and Hucks could take charge for Saturday and the board would have 5 more days to find someone to put in charge. That's 5 more days for the new man to bring some players in and a nice gap between games for him to prepare something new with the lads.
