Style of play

I've been thinking this for months now: what is it? Whar's our identity? We haven't got one, have we?

And listening to Hughton tonight, the way he always talks about "good possession play" and "that final third"... it's as though he consciously breaks things down into different parts of the pitch. Like he thinks it's like a computer game or something.

Even when we've supposedly played well at times this season (for example, Cardiff), it's never seemed natural to me. It's always regimented, bitty, and as prosaic as you can get. I've never truly understood why. Where is the teamplay here? Why don't we produce any?
