I hate the style of football as much as anyone but...

Hoots has obviously been carefully picking and choosing his battles to help keep the club up because a number of key players are missing through injury.

Now that the transfer window is open he has the opportunity to fix the squad and won't have any excuses.

If we make a permanent signing (rather than a loan) before the Hull match then I think he will be safe for the season.
