I'm just guessing but it possibly has something to do with

not being associtaed too closely with Al Jaeerah Channel in general which has been getting a seriously bad reputation for its news reporting. Regarding the other matter; no news just rumour that there are legal cases pending regarding what they bought and what they are being allowed to show.
