If BSE Canary logs in later and wants an alternative headphone recommendation

I can directly compare them with the very good AKG ones as that's what Mrs APB has. These sound miles better. When I bought them I was also trying out the B&W P3 and the Sennheisers, and although they were fine, these were much better sounding.

It's all subjective though. I'd have a snout round Sevenoaks or somewhere they'll let you try them all as much as you like.
