I got a pair of Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones for Chrimblemas

The sound quality is astoundingly good. They're noise-cancelling, and it's amazing how good they are cutting out outside racket. Indeed sometimes I just use them without music for some peace and quiet. They don't come cheap unfortunately - in the UK they're north of ?200. Luckily I had a friend who bought a pair for me in New York for about ?80 less.
