Because it's a huge f**king overreaction, or a massive case of amnesia

There is simply no way any of this s**te we're watching is anything close to the dirge we got mid 90?s and mid 00?s - it just isn't. Nobody likes not winning. Nobody likes not scoring. Nobody likes being overly defensive. But f**king hell, this is the best state our club has EVER been in. For the first time EVER IN OUR HISTORY, we're not a selling club. There's 1,000 other reasons why it's not as bad as then as well.

Now, I can see the argument that we could be slipping from that height we've reached (I'm not sure why people expect continuous rise - no club has ever done that), and that we should do something about it (I've still got splinters from this fence with the in/out sign on it), but to suggest we're at some kind on club historical nadir is just hyperbole beyond all reason.
