We have produced two more totally crpa away performcance although our recent 2-2 draw at Coventry (which for some reason 3,000 plus of us deceided to go to) is being championed as a great "positive result" and seems to have been the springboard for another "we must back worthy" and "lets stick together" campaign.
Etuhu looks like he could be good but hasn't quite set the world alight yet. Missed the Cov game with an injury.
We have signed Robinson on loan from Sunderland who to be fair played very well at Cov. He has been rewarded by being given a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup in return for going in the press and saying Worthy is one of the best manager's he's ever worked with (for 1 day!).
Safir on the other hand missed Cov as he has "fatigue" - he has now been told by Worthy that he cannot be sure of getting his place in the team back. There is a suggestion i think that Saf may have one eye on the African Nations Cup which is approaching.
Richard Balls wrote an excellent peice in the EDP last saturday where he basically said he thinks its down to Delia and MWJ that Worthy is still here, he's heard at least one other director is not happy with their stance and said he had heard rumours about the length of Worthy's contract.
This, along with lots of questioning from the fans has all prompted the club to go on the offensive (or defensive!) and release details of Worthy's contract which is apparently a 12 month rolling deal (the suggestion being it short term but in fact it presumably means it is indefinite if nobody has the inclination to terminate it).
We are still crap, have two more away games coming up. I'm not going to Derby and i'm quite pleased about that as my supporting enthusiasm is at an all time low.
