He doesn't need to be replaced

He contributes very little in the scheme of things.

If he has talked this whole thing up himself, it creates even more of a headache for CH. The manager might decide that he doesn't need the added fan (Sections of) pressure to play him and the ill-feelings in and around the dressing room.
