Its hilarious that they go to the trouble of posting the fact too

If I'm genuinely ignoring something I don't take any notice of it.
I certainly wouldn't embarrass myself by making the point, as that simply tells the rest of the board that they are genuinely wound up and are doing the very opposite.
There is nought as queer as folk soton.
