Would mean a complete change in Hughton's philosophy

Whittaker by himself on the right flank in a diamond to provide width with Olsson doing the same job on the other. Nothing to say that it couldn't work, but it won't happen because that's not Hughton's style...if it was then it would have probably been tried a few times already.

I really rate Wessi, but I could definitely see why he would want to play for Lambert again, knowing that he's willing to mold the team around him, at least in certain games. That's not a dig at Hughton, just the comparison of two very different approaches.
