I don?t think 31 is particularly old for a player of his style. He doesn?t rely on physical attributes, rarely gets injured, seems a healthy lad and if anything, his overall game has improved as he?s got older. No reason at all why he couldn't?t play the same game as he does now going into his mid 30?s, a la Scholes.

I am surprised Lambo couldn?t get more out of Stephen Ireland who is a similar and on his day a more talented player.
