I love Wes. I even named my dog after him.

But I can fully understand why he would want out. The manager clearly doesn't appreciate his strengths, and he's being offered another contract with an established Prem club with a former manager who he knows and who uses his skills effectively. The only thing he'd miss is the crowd's adulation, but what use is that you're not playing?
