I think one problem is that Snodgrass is a right winger

he's played all his career there, so is used to playing that way. Same with Redmond on the left. They are probably not very good at doing the role of a traditional winger.

The only out and out traditional winger we have is Bennett - perhaps he is a bigger miss in terms of changing our style that it seems.
