As I've said and it's just my opinion that hooper isn't a lone striker

If we play him as one then the supporting player( Wes) has to score their share of goals, which nobody can argue that he does.
This is why I think we were looking at the likes of the quag and toivonen at the start of the season, because they do get goals from that position.
When this didn't come off we got elmander, who let's not forget keeps toivonen out of the Sweden side
This is why for me Wes is only a sub or occasional starter nowadays not saying he's not been influential in getting the club where it is now, but we've got to look forward not backwards.
