(above) what I thought was happening tactically. I also thought we could have used the bench (Elmander or Becchio, particularly) to adopt a different approach for the last 25-30 minutes when we had ceased to be really threatening as in the first half.

But that's the manager's job, isn't it? If I take an aged relative to hospital and observe that the care they receive is ineffective I don't have to suggest how to reorganise the hospital's resources. If I think Osborne's a poor Chancellor because the cost of living is rising and youngsters can't get on the property ladder I don't have to mastermind an economic recovery.
