Good managers do what they think gives them the best chance of success

sometimes that is nothing. Not making a change is itself an active choice.

He changed it against Fulham when we were drawing (presumably as people like you wanted) and we went on to lose. If he had kept it the same we probably would not have lost the game.

Please explain what he should have done against United and how it would have given us a better chance. If you can't do better then just screaming "change it" without any rationale or analysis ofb the likely effects your argument is worthless.
