That's not how it works

Words banged on to messageboards form part of a debate. But people are expressing a preference, not "sack him or I'll never go again".

Ask 100 people today whether they want him sacked and 40 may say 'yes'.

Doesn't mean they are painting their placards and organising marches from the station. It's just what they would like.
