I think most of the Brick Lane restaurants are pretty similar standard tbh... although you might find the touts a bit of a nuisance at night. They can be a little intimidating/touchy sometimes. It's more of a gimmick these days, Brick Lane imo, to entice tourists. Standards aren't amazing...
However, if you're ok walking a bit further and you're looking for a decent traditional authentic curry house not far from Brick Lane, then this one is good. We eat there after work sometimes.
