...songs, hair, neck, on end, thread thing yesterday - only just remembered and this is a bit rushed but in no particular order...

1. Ray of Gob - Sex Pistols/Madonna mash up.
2. Ordinary Joe - Terry Callier (Northern Soul oldie but not strictly Northern either)
3. Elvis Presley Blues - Gillian Welch (country/blue grass husband and wife team. Possibly the finest lyrics ever)
4. I am the Resurrection - Stone Roses (nuff said: it's the instrumental second half rather than the singing bit that does it for me)
5. Rudie Can't Fail - The Clash (shame about Soccer AM but I guess you can't have everything in life)
6. I'll Give it Five - Janice Nicholls (a very silly bit of 60's girl group action)
7. Hard Row - The Black Keys (monster, monster blues rock type stuff)
8. The Immigrant Song - Beastie Boys/Led Zep mash up
9. Hey Ladies - The Beastie Boys (funky as a motherf**king funk thang in glittery flares and platforms and from one my all time fav albums)
10. Rebel Without a Pause - Public Enemy (the guvners: say no more)
11. Tomorrow Belongs to Me - Cabaret Soundtrack (very uplifting Nazi om-pah moosic)
12. This One's for You My Love - Benny Spellman (Northern Soul rarity and I wish I had it)

There's almost certainly more but I'm getting bored...
