Some observations & questions -
1/ What it did not say was what he was paid or the severance terms. I would not expect it to but I suspect that it would be possible to have an additional loyalty bonus (as with players) depending on how long he had stayed, in addition to the severance term? This would, in part, explain how the numbers quoted (c ?750k) in relation to him being sacked
2/ As it is a 1 year rolling contract are much more favourable than a 5 year one ? There is less long term security than a 5 year one.
3/ Interesting to read that there was a clause about Prem & Football League Status. Did this include Div 1 status as well?
4/ Did anyone notice that part of the press release was a direct lift from Richard Balls excellent article? I would think he is the most hated man in Carrow Road at the moment.
5/ I think that the club has made a mistake in giving out these details, as they will have backed themselves further into a corner with NW. Lets hope for a few more mistakes from the club, apart from the final one which is handing NW his P45.
As the club read these posts, I hope you liked my story in the PinkUn this week about the plummeting value of Worthington PLC. As it?s the sacking season at the mo, I would have hoped to read our managers name linked with at least one club at the moment. But I haven?t. Do you wonder why that is?
