and much of that has been against far lesser quality.
He seems capable of anything from brilliant to dire but sadly has delivered the latter for the vast majority of the time (in the Prem)
We all remember the brilliance as we remember a particularly hot summer, but its easier and convenient for some to forget the one-footedness, dwelling on the ball, lack of power after initial contact with the ball and a lack of goals (even when he has many, many chances)
I'd love to love him?but he doesn't give me a reason too often enough for him to gain my vote over far more solid options.
