Just watched an old Tom and Jerry cartoon

Tom gets flattened by a piano, dies, and goes up to see if he can get into Heaven. Ahead of Tom in the queue, The St Peter figure lets through a cat that has been savaged by a bulldog, another that has been killed with a flat iron, another that has been crushed by a steamroller, and finally, a wet sack full of kittens.

Try explaining all that to your kids.
