Laptop Advice

Seen posts like this on here many times before, so hoping some of you can assist!

Currently got a 5yr old laptop, 2ghz, 3mb RAM, with Vista, 15.6" screen.

Wanting a full HD screen ideally (at least 15.6" again) and a bit more power, also with Windows 8 and at least a 1TB hard drive, as I take a lot of photos and have a lot of music etc.

I'll be honest, at present I do little more than browse the net and do some spreadsheet/word work on it, but want as much power for my money as possible too, as there's a good chance I'll use it for more in the next 12 months. Ideally looking for something under ?400, but definitely under ?500.

Is there a recommended Wrath top laptop for the above requirements?

Any suggestions will much appreciated.
