I think he is still one of our best players

Thought he made the difference yesterday. I dont care if he loses the ball sometimes - he usually loses it because he is trying to make something happen rather than just passing sideways or backwards and he gives the ball away less than one or two others I could mention.

Yesterday and palace were our best home performances recently and I would say he had a major role in that for both games. Just nice to see someone doing some lovely crossfield passes and throughballs. In short, yesterday was entertaining. Doesnt matter that he doesnt score if he can create chances for others. Ok it didnt happen against man utd (although it nearly did) but I bet it might have done against fulham.

I'd like to see him in every game but should at least start next home game - and ideally with howson not instead of howson.
