Well, I'll make a suggestion

despite the unpleasant sneering tone of your post. Either Elmander or Becchio could have replaced Hooper. Or one of them for Hooper and the other for Snodgrass, who I thought had a disappointing game.

This would have meant that we had changed our shape and approach, and we might have competed more physically in the last 20 minutes. It might not have worked but it would have represented an attempt to alter the course of the second half.
