Pilkington, E Bennett? It's the "lucky Hughton" trope, and it's frankly pathetic. Few of us think that Hughton doesn't have some shortcomings, but seemingly more of us don't want to believe that he has anything but shortcomings.
If you think he should have changed the way we played, you presumably have some idea as to how he could have done that, with the resources he had. Please enlighten me. Or are you one of those opinionated idiots who booed the Hooper sub because they hadn't spotted he was struggling?
