Must say the football is crap

I think it's all about fear of losing PL status. Add to that Hughton's stifling negativity and a management team that includes probably Britain's worst manager, Colin Calderwood. Why would you have this guy advising you when he's got a proven track record of absolute s**t. I know nothing of Trollope except that he played most of his football in and around the 4th Division. Doesn't follow that he's crap but not exactly confidence producing.
I really don't want to join the knee jerk stuff about Hughton out, especially as I saw him as by far the best choice available at the time of his appointment but I begin to feel there's no other option. He's saddled with his own choice of management team and a deeply cautious approach and this has to be added to his inferiority complex about our status in this league.
I frankly hate this league with its petulant overpaid and testosterone fuelled "stars" and I'd love it to be different but it isn't. I also recognise it's the place to be however much I despise it. So it would be good to have a management team not overawed by the whole thing and prepared to give it a square go. Quite who might fit this bill I don't know but if things go on the way they are we're going to get relegated anyway so I think it's time for bold action and a completely new approach.
