I watched that 93 Man United game posted earlier

the pace of that game was phenomenal, certainly looked more high tempo than most of today's Premier League games. Also, the skill levels were high with players like Cantona, Giggs, Hughes, Fox, Sutton etc on show.

Some of the tackles would have been straight reds today, with players writhing around in mock agony.

In short, it was more exciting then in many ways. Or maybe it was just because we were so good.
