i remember there being a big news story about something similar few years back

but with those you had to take one for every 2 units of alcohol that you drank (or something similar) - something that had been 'developed by the KGB'

that, i think properly worked - but given the amount of faff i remember that being i'm surprised by the 1 pill solution
