Could it be that

the people running the comp paid for it on their card and the supplier then sent it directly to you?

Few years ago my bro got an Apple laptop in a comp win but couldn't remember entering any comp. I think it possible that someone entered a comp and put his address down because it was one entry per household.

He checked with the supplier and found out that the comp people had ordered it from the supplier and the supplier then sent it direct to him. Nobody ever claimed it back from him.
