I saw a stat elsewhere that said Lambert has made less subs than any other manager in the league so its funny how we get different perceptions.
I think with Hoot its not that people want loads of subs it's just he is generally happy with keeping the status quo so he generally leaves it as long as he can then makes like for like changes whereas under Lambert if he made a sub it was often to change something more dramatically or indeed often a lot earlier.
On the whole I do think Hughton leaves his subs too late and is a bit lacking when it comes to ability to change the pattern of a game with subs.
