FAO Sugbad RE Andrew Surman

Surman had a bad start to the season, made a few errors and was dropped after a few games. A few fans I know see him a Big Time Charlie who thinks he's come to do Bournemouth a favour - he did a radio interview where he said he considered himself to be a premiership player but he didn't do enough to justify his comments. Bournemouth went on a decent run without him and he struggled to get in the team and has mostly warmed the bench.

I've only watched Bournemouth play three times so far this season and the only game Surman played in was a 6-1 defeat at Watford. That said, Bournemouth have been in a rut lately and he's replaced Ryan Fraser in the starting line up in the last few games. I think the QPR game at the start of December was his first start since September. It sounds like he's picking up form again but I've not seen him play for months. I'm watching Bournemouth against Yeovil on Boxing Day so I'll report back if he plays, which is likely.
