I can see your point and i agree to some degree but both Trott and Swann leaving the tour ( trott to much lesser degree ) tells me that from the very moment the team got on the plane the ashes were lost

Trotts issue was there for a long time and Swann thoughts of retirement must have been in his head for sometime as well

Someone somewhere should have known about it
