he's probably been thinking about it for a while, and cirmcumstances have bought it forward a little

we're 3 down in the series so the remaining tests are sort of dead, if he was thinking of quitting in a couple of weeks then why not quit now and come home and spend xmas with your family. rather than holed up in an aussie hotel getting yourself in trouble on twitter
