on we didn't create much today. Fer had to stay back too much with Johnson, and so didn't link with the front two much. Very little came through midfield, and Sunderland consistently ran through the middle, although ironically it was when they sapient wide they looked dangerous. Think Redmond needs a break - can go missing for twenty minutes or so, as nineteen year old attackers do.

Good point though - fewer WTF moments from Bassong today, and just a little brain fart from Ruddy on an otherwise good performance. Still think we're playing with the handbrake on, you know, just a smidge - not full on like at the start of the season, but enough to make the dashboard light come on...
