Ok - try.......

You will be heading towards the stadium on the a1231. That's the direct route off the a19. You will get to a large roundabout (having passed over many smaller ones) with traffic lights on it. You'll know it when you get there. Take a left towards southwick (it's an exit immediately before the roundabout starts, signposted southwick). All around there are housing estates etc. No parkng restrictions or permit zones. Side of the road is safe enough and the stadium is a few minutes walk from there.
